★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This is one of our go to spots for camping in the metroplex - it’s quiet, scenic, and easy to get to. The facilities are kept clean and the staff working is always so friendly and helpful. We have visited twice now and will be planning more time here in the fall! Great spots for fishing, and a lot of the tent camping sites have lots of room where you don’t feel like your neighbors are breathing down your neck. We really love this place!
May 28 · Amanda BirdThe grass is not cut, weeds are high, the trees are not trimmed to meet the height of RVs, the grounds are not kempt. There's debris from trees and some trash around the grounds. The fire ring is decades old and rusted half as tall. The only good thing is this isn't a well-used campground and it was quiet where we were parked.
July 22 · Lori RupertNice park. good place to camp but make your reservations early because it always fills up quick. great lake to take the whole family
May 25 · Steve PerkinsOnly giving 3 just because the bathrooms could use some power washing and pest control. We saw lots of scorpions in the ones that were open.Half of them were locked up as well.Lots of potential just needs some love. Our site was near a stagnant creek so there ended up being roaches everywhere. Kind of a terrifying trip overall.I know with camping theres going to be bugs but this was overwhelming. Also there is no where to really swim the whole park has lake view but it is covered with trees and grass so high you cant get into the lake. The gentleman at the front was sweet and super informative.I will probably give this place another chance more towards fall.
