Soo Line Trail / Onamia KOA Reviews
We were informed that the owners had only just recently purchased the grounds. They are doing some amazing things there. It was a very nice stay. Very comfortable and it's clear that the caretakers genuinely care about their visitors and the property. Would happily stay again!
Jul 02, 2025 · Josh YggdrasilSpent a week and had a wonderful stay. Room was clean. Store readily available. Owners extremely nice and concerned for their guests, especially during some severe weather. Access to the trail right there. Would highly recommended and would stay again no question.
Jun 20, 2025 · Jen GarsowVery clean, neat and friendly campground! The new owners were very considerate! Right on the atv trail. The store had plenty supplies, the bathrooms/showers were very nice. First thing you notice when driving in is how new and clean it looks! One of the nicest campgrounds we have used!
Jul 05, 2025 · Ryan FostervoldLet's start with the positive.Sites are very clean, great customer service with the staff and very quite location. Sites are right off the Soo Line ATV trails which is a plus. Many pull through sites with electric and water. This place is under ne ownership so i am hopeful they will make changes to this campground.Improvements:No tree coverage what so ever. Place opened 8 years ago where they clear-cut everything and never plated any trees since. Walmart parking lots have more shad with their light poles. This campground is very expensive for what they offer. We paid $72/night (which was their spring discount). I honestly felt this was almost double what it was worth. A swimming pool would add the value, but there has been little to no money reinvested. The place is super quiet, but that is due to lack of campers which means they need to charge more. (4 campers the whole weekend)
May 27, 2025 · John D. WatrinWe stayed June 6-8th. The campground is under new ownership and they are working very hard to make this a destination campground. The staff was professional, polite and helpful. The campground is very clean, quiet and close to the Soo Line trail which has a dirt road for ATV/side by sides and a paved path for bikes although the bike path is a bit rough in places. The campground is also close to Lake Mille Lacs and they have plenty of parking. The new owners have plans to add more trees, camp spaces and amenities. We would stay here again.
