★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We enjoyed our stay at Smoky Waters Campground! We will definitely be sure to stay here when we come back. Loved the amount of space at each campsite and how much room we had around the area. We appreciate the site not being packed in where we could reach out and touch the next camper like most campsites. This definitely sets them apart from other campgrounds. No water in the creek but the river has water. You can’t pick a bad spot with the views from the campground. Very friendly owners and helpful with anything you needed.
July 09 · Kaylie RaggioBest Campground for big rigs and peaceful stay. Abundant wildlife and a beautiful river. The service was perfect. The lady in the office was super sweet and helpful and went out of her way to make sure my stay was nice. They brought me a firepit and wood too, even though I didn't use them it was a super nice gesture and convenience. They're a new campground and still being built and added too. I predict this will be a premier campground in Townsend.
June 13 · Luke HaggardGreat small family campground with full hook ups. Close to everything and just far enough get away from the crowds. Quiet and relaxing, can tube and swim in the river. Owners are amazing and friendly. We will be back!
July 15 · Ericka Von BargenMy wife and I are entering our twelfth year of camping. I’m proud to say that we have finally found our “go to” campsite at Smoky Waters Campground in Townsend, TN. Nestled just outside the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is this newly opened gem. Smoky Waters is by far the most spacious and the most peaceful place we have ever stayed. It was a genuine pleasure to meet Sheila and Cleve, the owners/hosts, Sheila truly exhibits southern hospitality and prioritizes her guests in a way that makes you feel at home.
June 16 · Don CookGreat location. Rained a lot while we were there but we really enjoyed our stay. Easy access to bike trail in Townsend. Owner Shelia was very helpful and nice. Would definitely recommend and we will be back.
