Jun 14, 2025 · Michelle PenningtonWe had the pleasure of staying at Smalltown the week of the 4th of July. It’s an excellent location and base camp within a reasonable distance to Spruce Knob, Seneca Rocks, Dolly Sods, Nelson Rocks, and the Cass Scenic Railroad. The nearby town of Franklin has a small supermarket with a great selection of food items. The folks are friendly and welcoming. The campground is quiet and the surrounding views are idyllic. Looking forward to staying here again in the future.
Jul 08, 2024 · Francis SuttonThis small campground was a beautiful spot nestled between the mountains, quiet, and the stars at night were incredible. It's close to Seneca rocks and a small town if you need provisions. It has great full hookups and the wifi is a plus cause once you leave there is none. For us a shower house would have been nice, but that's just us cause we are 4 sisters in a smaller RV so makes it easier.Overall great spot and great hosts. We would totally come back and recommend.
Sep 13, 2023 · Karen GippleFull hookups, decent wifi, beautiful setting, had the place to ourselves for the week. Perfect spot for us!
Mar 30, 2025 · Brad GlennWe only camped here two nights but enjoyed the stay very much. It’s a quaint, wide open campground in the valley between two small mountains. Great view to wake up to for us flat land Floridians. The sites had full hookups and the ground had strong WiFi. The owners were super responsive and helpful when needed. Highly recommend.
