Sloway Campground Reviews
This is an absolutely lovely rustic campground. It offers clean pit toilets, trash receptacles, large private sites, many of which are pull through, RV water filling stations, free firewood (5 pieces per night) provided by the very friendly Hosts, and some T-Mobile service. We enjoyed sitting in our space watching the river flow by and, the anglers and the trains go by. What brings the campground down to a four is that it is nestled between I 90 and a very active train line. It takes getting used to the noise. Many of the sites in the campground are available for reservation through NPS. But there are still first come first serve sites, 26 being one of them, and it was beautiful. If you’re looking for camp stores, playgrounds, showers, or laundromats this is not the campground for you. I would stay again if passing through the area.
May 25, 2025 · Lisa K.Not so hidden Gem. Easy access, right by the river. Camp ground hosts are the nicest folks ever. They keep it clean and organized. We reserved a spot for the 4th of July. I highly recommend this spot.
Jun 09, 2025 · Dale BakkenNice and quiet with pull through camp sites.
Jun 25, 2025 · James BethanyGreat for the price. Kinda a decent amount of highway noise bit quick easy and cheap. When we pulled into our spot, I hit the self leveler and it was already level.
Jun 09, 2025 · Jeff StalbergerThis campground sits just off I 90 along the shores of the Clark River. It is s a pretty good single night campground when you are headed somewhere and just need a quick pull off stop - Better than a Walmart! We were en-route to a longer trip and used it for one night for exactly that purpose. It is a medium size campground with 27 sites. Some are large pull through sites that would accommodate bigger RVs like the site we chose, site #5. Each Site had a picnic table and fire ring. There are pit toilets and drinking water available. There are no hookups, no showers, no dump station. There is an area to hand launch small boats. We walked across the gravel bar area to the east and were able to sit in a more private area along the river shore. A nice spot to take a break from driving and cool off in the water. I wouldn't stay here for an extended vacation, but it served our purpose well.
