Slickrock Campground Reviews
Easily navigated. Nice people. Very very clean.
Apr 12, 2025 · Tiffany WillifordMy husband and I stayed here for 8 days during May and June 2021. Our reservations made well in advance. I have a few complaints.1. Campsites were so close you could reach out and shake your neighbors hand.2. Cable lines had been installed, but someone forgot to order the boxes.3. There was no WIFI really except at the front office.4. Major renovations were going on during peak season which eliminated one of the bathrooms and showers.5. Although pet friendly, there was no dog park or place for our dog to use the bathroom except for the empty campsites.6. For anyone with children, there was no playground.7. No poolI hope with the major renovations ongoing most of my complaints will be eliminated. As a positive, the cleaning crew were amazing.
Jun 06, 2021 · Cathy LucasThis is a great campground and the owners Dale and Linda could not have been more friendly, and helpful to our group of 8 adult campers. This is mainly an RV camp site but also great for tent campers. It is right on the lake and very quiet. Be sure to say hello to Zeus the Lab and super friendly camp dog and give him some pets and treats. He escorted the ladies to the bath house at night just to keep us safe. We will return to this site preferably when the weather is cooler.
Sep 17, 2018 · Michelle SanchezTake a drive through there every evening when I get off work! And today the owner/manager told me he would call the law if I'm kept making a loop through there -- keep in mind I was going about 10mph no wonder there leaving that camp ground! I've never seen so many camping spots open there! They used to be a 2 year waiting list! That's what Yankees coming down and buying it will do
Sep 20, 2017 · Ken ElrodStopped by to check it out...well kept... spacious camping spots. Donna in the camp store was informative, friendly and provided World Class service....she should be a spokesperson for the Bear Creek Dam Association. Will return for a few nights of camping
