Sleeping Bear Inc, while focusing on a high-quality, personalized camping and cabin experience, doesn't extensively advertise traditional "promotions or special offers" in the same way larger, more commercial resorts might. Their value proposition appears to be rooted in the quality of the experience, the serene environment, and the friendly service.
However, based on the available information regarding their rates, there are inherent value structures that act as a form of benefit for guests:
- Weekly Rates for Cabins: The cabins have a "Rate is $200 night $1,200 weekly (7 nights)," indicating that booking for a full week offers a reduced per-night cost compared to daily rates. This provides an incentive for longer stays, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the tranquility and activities of the area.
- No Pet Fee for RV & Wilderness Sites: While cabins have a "Pet fee is $10 per night," there is "no pet fee for RV & wilderness sites." This is a significant benefit for pet owners, making it a more economical choice for those traveling with their furry companions in their RV or tent.
- Free Amenities: The provision of "free hot showers" and "free WiFi access" for all guests are valuable inclusions that contribute to the overall value without additional charge, unlike many other campgrounds that meter or charge for these services. "Wood provided for fire pit" (implied communal fire pit use) is also a nice touch that saves campers money and hassle.

Given the "quiet" and "family-owned" nature of the campground, a direct conversation can often reveal the best options for your planned visit. The stated phone numbers are the best way to get this personalized information.

Sleeping Bear Inc Reviews
We went for our first EVER trip in our new 36ft Forrest River RV(we are from Connecticut, soon to be Maine). While we are waiting for our land to be prepped for our camper we stayed at Sleeping Bear..we LOVED the campground. It's NOT the huge 100+ site busy, loud campground..it's the quiet, feels like your "home" type of place. The owners are so friendly, kind and helpful. Our site was very nice, fresh Maine water, 30amp power, (ran out a/c perfect). Very clean and well kept bathhouses with individual toilet/sink/showers. Lots of walking trails for dogs, even a place out back near the beautiful barn to let dogs off leash to play ball. SUPER quiet area except for the loons singing in the distance in the evening from Silver Lake close by. What a beautiful sound that is!!! They have a communal area with a huge barn, picnic tables surrounded by perenial gardens and it all belongs in Home and Garden. They have weddings here also, and I can see why ..i almost forgot the neatest part, they also rent our cabins, they are all beautiful log cabins with deep burgundy metall roofs, and dark brown stain, well kept cabins all tucked into the trees, as private as the camp sites are!!! A lovely place for sure! Also, this camp is approx 10/15 min from lincoln, ME which has anything and everything you need....it's a beautiful place, we would come back for sure.
May 24, 2024 · Amy DrouinWe stayed at RV site 2, a very large, shaded area at the end of the campground. The only neighbors are two beautiful cabins, each some 100 feet away. Table, fire pit, 30-amp electricity, water and a large garbage can. Not all camp sites are this private or large. Very nice and welcoming host.
Aug 10, 2024 · Jack ReerinkWe stayed for a week in July 2020 and I was super impressed. The cabin was beautiful, so spacious, super clean and stocked with everything you could possibly need. It felt like home and the owners are super nice and welcoming. There is plenty of space between cabins and sites. You don't feel like your sleeping with your neighbors lol. Highly recommend. Our family has stayed mutiple tes over the last few years.
Jul 14, 2024 · Cj CustomsWe took our travel trailer, but the cabins are gorgeous knotty pine hand built by the owners. We easily jumped on trails and rode the 4 wheeler for hours. Great trails in this area, a lot of variety and terrain changes. Everyone we met there was nice, and we made some new friendships as well. Booked another weekend this year and reserved one for next. Great place!
Jul 11, 2023 · Keith NiederstadtNancy is the greatest camp host! The campsites are clean and flat. Very easy to navigate the property. Access to lots of ATV trails. Only 45 mins. from Baxter State Park. The town of Lincoln is a quick car ride away. The bathrooms/showers are brand new and in pristine condition. Couldn't ask for a better experience.
