Sioux Falls KOA Journey Reviews
We were greeted with smiling faces from the ladies at the check in desk and then Mike L. guided us to our spot. He was so friendly and helpful! The campground was clean and well shaded in most areas. Bathrooms were spotless and pool seemed well maintained. We weren’t on the highway side of the campground but I can see how that would be noisy for some guests- but, it is a KOA Journey after all— they’re meant to be for quick and easy stops and advertise that they’re close to highways for this reason. The highway didn’t bother us at all and actually made it easy for us to resume our trip the next day. Would recommend!
Jun 28, 2025 · Amanda CallahanWe stopped on 6/23/2025 for an overnight stay. The park is exceptionally clean, has a wonderful play area for kids, and a protected area for pets. The office staff was very friendly and called for a guided, golf-cart escort to our site. The guide offered to explain the hookups if we needed it.The water had excellent pressure, the electric provided 50/30/20 amp service, and the sewer access was clean and well maintained. The bathroom/shower building looked brand new and was clean and impeccably maintained. The showers had ample hot water at good pressure. There is a dump station available at the park exit. The only negative is the noise from the nearby freeway and airport.A delighter is that the property is located next door to a Camping World store. We greatly recommend this location for a visit.
Jun 24, 2025 · Jim CincottaNot the place to come for quiet. It is so loud especially if you have to park in the row right next to the highway. I would have slept better at a truck stop. Amenities are nice as are the grounds. Loud country music at the pool was annoying. And $3 additional for a child? I should mention we only have one kid not six which I could understand would elicit a possible additional charge. Too expensive for the quality of stay.
Jun 29, 2025 · K MeadBeautiful little campground. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. The pool was the cleanest we had visited and the park was cute, right next to our campsite. The bathrooms were very clean . The showers were hot, automatic (no push button hassle) and very clean as well. We were very happy with the Teepee stay. It had an ac unit, fan, bunk beds and warm bedding. A great night away from home.
Jun 19, 2025 · jessica scannellCute little campground. Staff were over the top friendly and helpful.Located conveniently next to the freeway. So if you are looking for peace and quiet this is not your spot. But for a short stay it has all the amenities you need. Nice clean restrooms and showers. Brand new little pickleball court, basket ball court, corn hole and a pool. All small but in good shape.I would go back!
