Silver Creek Campground North Carolina Reviews
Really pretty campground, the main area has a nice laundry area and the playground and swimming pool seemed clean and well kept. All of the camper lots were nice, the grounds were bigger than we expected. Bathrooms were very clean, well lit and well kept. The jade cabin smelled like cigarette smoke when we got in there, which we aired out, and we thankfully brought our own sheets. I wish there was a few interior pictures posted for that cabin so we knew a little more what to expect and bring. Still slept well as the mattress was comfy and the ac unit worked well. Lisa was super sweet and responsive, and we would definitely come stay again, just probably in a camper!
Jun 20, 2025 · Peyton PepperCame to scout the area for future cycling tours in Green River and other renowned local cycling routes. The tent sites and primitive tents hold potential and the campground seems to be growing and working on improvements. The staff was all friendly and they had holiday activities for the kids around the pool and fishing pond. All around a nice simple place in the country. That being said…. Night two we were treated to SIX HOURS of continuous dogs barking. The staff was aware, other camp sites were yelling at the dogs, and the owners were absent. Fours dogs chained up outside an RV with nobody present when I walked up there around 22:30. No cell service in the campground so I could only get a text to the published office number. We finally packed up at 00:30 and drove 2 hours back home. The policies WE received prior to arrival were very specific about dogs, behavior, and noise.

Nov 25, 2024 · Michael McCarthyCampground host/manager rude to visitors. There seems to be several under the influence of drugs and traffic coming and going constantly. Not ideal for families to get away for a nice weekend camping.
