Sigsbee Campground Reviews
What a great place to enjoy the ocean and have quick access to Key West. My wife and I have been here for almost 3 months and we have thoroughly enjoyed every day. We were supposed to leave a month and a half ago and we just keep telling ourselves, that we are not ready to leave the campground nor the Key West area. Alas, we have to leave this Sunday for a family event so we will do so with sadness in our hearts. A great combination of dry camping and full hook ups. There are three different bath houses with laundry facilities. One of the laundry facilities is currently shut down for repairs. In addition to the great location and facilities, the staff here is just incredible. Headed up by Shannon, the rest of the team, Dennis, Alvin, Andrea, and Angel do a phenomenal job of supporting all the campers. It is amazing to watch them handle the campers' request sto be moved from one part of the campground to another for a variety of reasons. Some people want to move from dry camping to full hook ups. Other people want to move from full hook ups not on the waterfront, to full hook ups on the waterfront. Whatever the request is, the team works hard to accommodate the campers. They are also quick to respond to any maintenance issues that arise. Can't say enough good things about them.
Apr 10, 2025 · Dan PettyIt’s a good campground. Not too crowded especially compared to other RV camps in the area, facilities are very nice, and pretty easy to enter/exit. It is military only and you can’t have fires. We stayed for 80 days, weather was amazing every day except for 3, the beach area is nice, and the restaurant there is pretty decent. There are usually a few younger families too. The commissary and exchange are both small but it’s also Key West so it’s good for the area. If you plan on staying for a while and you have kids, there’s four parks, a rec building, church every Sunday at 1030 (at the rec building), a splash pad, teen center, and youth center. Great people great place.
Jan 20, 2023 · kaelyn phillipsAwesome campground with great views. Spots are tight but worth it! Make sure to have your paperwork ready though they want to see it all.
Dec 30, 2024 · Kayla ArittAmazing place with golf view, and beautiful sunsets. Nice leveled spots, close to the commissary and Nex, plenty of parking. Short drive to the Key West but far away enough to enjoy a quiet and peaceful time just admiring the view.
Feb 02, 2023 · Kaja SWIEBThis base is amazing! The price is phenomenal! $45 per for an unobstructed view of the ocean! The poor office staff wanted so much information I swear they were going to ask the size of my personal ahem…information! Check In takes about a hour to go through all of your paperwork, military ID, vehicle/camper registrations, insurances, etc. However, the best part of camping there was my camp host, Alex! He offered great advice on places to go, price lines, what to do, how to snorkel properly, and the better spots around for everything; whether it be food, recreation or fun! The man is a true “host” of knowledge and went above and beyond to make my family and the other campers feel very comfortable. We will definitely be back!
