Sherwood Forest Campground Reviews
So upset. We stayed there and left a night early and they charged us a $35 cleaning fee saying that we left garbage in the fire pit of our site. My husband and I cleaned our site before we left and made sure the site was clean when we left. Someone must have put something in our fire pit after we left and now we are getting charged with it. I called the campground about it and explained them that we left our site clean so we aren’t sure why we are getting a charge and lady I spoke to said she would check with her husband. She never called me back or resolved the issue. Now I have to go through the trouble to dispute with my bank to get this cleared up. I had no idea I would be scammed by a campground. We will not be staying here again.

It's a beautiful little town and Sherwood Forest Campground and it's aqua park has something for everyone.Whether you're swimming or scuba diving, kayaking, or laying in a hammock like I am right now taking in the fresh air, this is a nice, family-oriented, very peaceful campground.I'm going to start exploring the underwater park that has everything from a bus to a helicopter to a Jeep and several other things. It's a great training park for scuba divers just overall fun and relaxing place to go scuba diving. I highly recommend it!

May 21, 2025 · Daniel Hoffman JrSpent a week at Sherwood campground wheeling with some friends. Wendy the camp host was super helpful and accommodating for us. Campground was clean and the Bathrooms were spotless being freshly cleaned every morning. Firewood was delivered to the campsite. The campground has access to atv trails and the off road park. There is a gas station accessible from the trail which was convenient. The sewer water and power is a little tricky your going to want to bring some extra hoses and such. Also bring enough leveling lumber the sites for the most part are uneven. We will camp here again.
