Shenandoah Valley Campground

296 Riner Ln, Verona, VA 24482, USA

4.0
This is our favorite local campground. The waterfall there is beautiful, which of course you can't find anywhere else! The pool is heated, so it is comfortable even in the spring and fall, in addition to the hot tubs. The whole atmosphere is family and dog friendly. We have been camping here for 3 years now, just made our first visit this year, and It was a great time, as expected! My husband enjoys fishing in the river, they also have a stocked pond/lake, but he's caught huge trout in the river! My youngest daughter wanted to take our camper for her birthday, and the staff was especially welcoming and sweet to her, once they heard she was turning 7. The shower and restroom facilities are always clean and well cared for, and enjoy the DJ on Friday & Saturday nights, as well as the pancake breakfast on weekend mornings. Last but not least, don't forget all of the bunny rabbits, all over! We bring baby carrots to feed them, which they absolutely love, although the store does sell bags of pellet rabbit food, you will have all the rabbits visiting you with the baby carrots, and most of them will take it right out of your hand! - Katie Schaeffer
