★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We stopped here for an overnight on July 4th weekend. This seemed to be a nice KOA when we arrived, and we enjoyed walking around the town and having dinner. The staff were friendly, the grounds were maintained nicely, and the bathrooms were clean. However, we were disappointed with the cleanliness of the cabin when we arrived. At first we were pleasantly surprised that we had a cabin with mattresses that were like new and seemed really comfortable, but looking closer we realized they needed a good wipe down to remove the pet hair and paw prints. The fridge had something spilled all over the inside, and the floor was sticky in a place or two and could have used a mop. Since this is camping, we didn’t think it was a big deal so we wiped the fridge and the beds and left to enjoy the pool and the games. We didn’t realize until after dark that the cabin had a cockroach problem. We killed seven in about an hour as they were finding their way in through the floor boards. Some were attracted to whatever was on the floor. One crawled in my pant pocket overnight and jumped out the next morning when my wife was folding clothes. Not a good experience.I feel bad to leave a bad review. This is a nice campground and we would have enjoyed our stay if we had our RV or a cabin without the bugs. Hopefully this issue is addressed soon.
July 13 · Joshua NarleskyGreat for an overnight stop, if you don't mind the sound of traffic and trains. Nice workers. There is a pool, though it's too cold so not open. Outdated park, but my kiddo still enjoyed it quite a bit. 2 dog run areas; we had a blast trying to get our dogs to do the obstacles. There is a walking trail whoch is nice. In a small town, has a great burger stop and " "cars" themed vehicles. About 2hrs from the grand canyon. Had to extend our stay because we really like this little area.
April 02 · MrMs KingWe truly loved this family run RV campground. The spot was beautiful, just a few hundred metres from an historic section of route 66 and quite close to the Grand Canyon national park.We were treated extremely well and nicely by everyone and even offered complimentary coffee. We had a lovely bbq near our RV and were able to use all facilities.Very highly recommended
April 20 · Enrico MasiniNice place to stay in the RV. Train was a little close but all part of the charm. They had a well stocked store and clean laundry facilities. Buying propane on-site was a nice perk too. We will definitely stay again.
April 08 · Clark GardnerWe stopped our RV for the night so we could take a good shower. Showers are closed, no hot water. Should have parked at a truck stop. All rock and no privacy. Clean enough and an attempt at making the toilets cute. Maybe I’m grumpy because I paid for a shower and didn’t get one. No discount. Would have been nice it it had been posted on their website.
