Sebewaing County Park Reviews
I have been to most of the Huron Country Parks and enjoy them all our favorite is Light House Park. What makes this Park so nice is that there not a lot of people at any one time. If this was a very busy Park I think it would be a little uncomfortable. We were there for the 4th of July holiday and it was nice. People were friendly and helpful and the park was clean. Not have a boat ramp was a bummer but the marina just on the other side of the river was convenient. The bathrooms are in need of a size upgrade as two showers and two toilets will not be able to serve this Park if it becomes more popular. Overall they were clear enough and served the purpose. Looking forward to getting back and enjoying the great Saginaw Bay.
Jul 14, 2018 · John HartCamping Sunday and Monday. Park to myself after noon on Sunday. All day and evening and then no commotion tearing down Monday.
Jun 17, 2024 · Brian RohdeI come here for the trails. The park is nestled against the Saginaw Bay in an often overlooked corner of Sebewaing. The Senior Meal site sits behind the RV area and gets most of the traffic. There is a small wood with a few rather rough trails winding through it, along a river offshoot. The best trail is along the Sebewaing River itself -- it follows the river far out into the bay. This is a good 3/4 mile hike from walking bridge. The trail gets narrower until it turns into muddy ground and phragmites -- during winter going father is possible. Spectacular views await at the end.
Jan 09, 2019 · Hungry MichiganderWe camped here in the rustic tent area and it was perfect! Plenty of space and its right by the water. Spot #60 is the best spot! Bathrooms are a close walk and arent bad. Trails are nice. Will be back!
