Sebago Lake Family Campground Reviews
Paid over $200 for the worse campground we have ever stayed at.Got on site with the office in darkness. They had no power, which meant no electricity or running water. Couldn't even use their bathrooms. They told us that they loose the electricity all the time. Why they don't have a backup generator is beyond me, but they had every type of farm equipment. They did give us a jug of water to flush our toilet.Power finally came back on after four hours. The buildings are way over due for maintenance. The last day, just before leaving, we used their bathrooms. They were gross. Our site had the water hoses showing above ground. The picnic table was rotting out, and the site was tight to pull into, due to sapling in the way.The on site sewer was fine. The beach was the only thing nice about this campground. They were nice friendly people but their age is affecting this place. Time to sell and get someone in that will upgrade this place.
Jul 02, 2024 · BinermanWe went here during the off-season. So perhaps my experience will differ. It's mostly seasonal campers. Good and bad with in mind. One of which was my neighbor who described the facilities as "rustic" It's a little rundown. It's a camp. Not the 4 seasons. The store is lacking. But luckily theres a store down the road a few mins "Jordans" that should have everything one would need. Beach is selling point. No doubt. Prices are average. I've seen a lot of reviews complaining about the bathrooms. There's an older couple who owns/runs it. In the mornings I noticed the owner cleaning/scrubbing the toilets/mirrors, counters spaces himself. I feel like that carries a little weight. Like they try. Or care. Would go back. Has everything you would need. Maybe not everything you want.
Oct 01, 2024 · Johnny RenegadeWe got a camping spot. Real friendly people. Gated access so not just anyone can come in unless they walk in. Test rooms could be bigger only 2 showers over where we are. 2 on female side and 2 on male side. Could have a wall between the men's and ladies entrance as a guy can just walk right over to the woman's side.
Jul 14, 2024 · Denise BennettGreat location on the lake with a decent beach. Some sites are fairly small, and the facilities are not aging well. Up keep seems to be an issue here, as we visited 6 years ago and things are only worse. Bathrooms are not well maintained, showers are very old, small, and dirty (pretty gross.) Sites 75-85 all have water surrounding them which encourages flooding and bugs. That's being said, everyone was nice and pleasant to work with.
Jul 08, 2023 · James MId say this place is amazing, me and my family have been coming here for years now and we have a seasonal with our camper. The workers are very nice and will be unless you are rude to them. I wouldn't recommend tent camping here, but with a camper/rv is good. There are places for boats and you can rent a boat right nearby if you don't have one already. The only thing id say could be improved is the bathrooms. Overall my family loves it here and we will continue coming every summer
