- Transparent Family-Based Rates: The campground’s clear policy of basing rates on "a family, two adults, and your children under the age of 18," rather than a strict per-person limit, is a major "promotion" for larger families. This inclusive approach avoids extra charges for additional children, making it more budget-friendly for bigger households.
- Golf Cart Rental Discounts: Guests can receive a 10% discount on golf cart rentals if booked for the entire length of stay and paid for in advance. This provides a convenient and cost-effective way to navigate the sprawling campground.
- New Customer Special (Past Example): While offers can change, a past "New Customer Special" offered a "stay one night, get the second one free" promotion for first-time visitors during specific periods, indicating a willingness to entice new campers with direct discounts. It is advisable to check their current promotions page or inquire directly for any similar ongoing offers.
- Seasonal Pricing: The campground clearly states that "Weekdays before June 20th & after Labor Day have a discounted rate (OS) due to the limited activities & amenities." This offers a lower-cost option for those who can visit during the shoulder seasons, providing flexibility and affordability.
- Longer Stay Discounts: Sea Pirate Campground typically offers weekly, monthly, and seasonal rates that are more economical than daily rates, incentivizing longer stays and providing significant savings for extended vacations.
These varied promotions and value-adds make Sea Pirate Campground a compelling and often cost-effective choice for New Jersey families seeking a fun-filled camping adventure.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Perfect for young families with kids! We had a tent site this past weekend and it was wonderful! Clean sites, close bathroom, and alot of activities for the kids. Will be back soon!
June 08 · Richard ContiI wanted to like Sea Pirate, but there was one blaring issue: cold showers, that are mostly unusable unless you're an adult.I can't imagine what led the management to install shower controls that are basically to outside public beach hosedowns. 1) Every shower is a push button that my kids did not even have the strength to press, then 2) you get about 4 seconds of water per push—if saving water was your goal, you've done the opposite since I'm not showering with one hand—and even when you run the water for OVER 10 minutes, 3) you get something that might be 4º warmer than tap. And the problem is NOT the water heaters or set temperature, every sink faucet was scalding hot after my 10 minutes wait, but every single shower in the place was the same story. I have been to $15 National Forest Campgrounds with push buttons showers that would have been an absolute treat compared to this. But this is a private re$ort campground for families!!! I mean, what??On top of that, they advertise a hot tub. It was cold as ice. We didn't have high expectations visiting before Memorial Day and although it's only in the welcome pamphlet, the words, "heated pool," was used, but cold as well. We even tried spring wet suits for 15 minutes, unsuccessfully.*sigh*Besides that, this place would be a gem. We felt secure and secluded with our site. We LOVED the way they put, "a family, two adults, and your children under the age of 18," in their rates description, instead of the usual "6 people per site", where you feel like a vagrant family just because you have 5 kids. The theming of the place is super charming, and the camp store is Incredibly well stocked! Alas, we left with a bad taste—when you're staying for more than a night or two, showers are needed.
May 12 · Phillip WWhat a cool campground! We went for the chilli cookoff competition, and had a wonderful time. Can't wait to try out the campground, looks like there's so much to do!
June 11 · Michael Theodore SmyklaStayed in a Deluxe cabin for 4 nights. Smaller than it looks in the pics (of course) Should come with towels and sheets for the price. It was clean, they supplied dish soap, paper towels small set pots and pan, and enough dishes for 6 people. Bring your own hand soap for the bathroom. Campground is clean. The pool is beautiful, well kept , cabanas to rent too, small one was $100 large was $150, had chairs & fridge. The Pool is the star of this campground. They have a nice snack shop by the pool area too. But the HORSE FLIES WERE HORRIBLE!!!! I MEAN HORRIBLE. The locals even said the horse flies are very bad. I know when I am camping I will get some mosquito/bug bites. But the horse flies were relentless. Its a really nice campground but the horseflies, you cant get rid of them. I am wondering if that is why the campground was not full while I was there. This time of year most campgrounds are to capacity on the weekends...I hate to say it but because of the horseflies, I probably will not go back to this campground.
July 20 · Debi RuppHello, just a note to let you know I received great customer service in checking in.I was so tired from driving and needed to stay one night. The cabin was checked before we arrived . Even air conditioning was turned on before arriving at our site. Very clean site and cabin. I looked over at the pool, just like a water park. It was amazing. I stayed one night and had a blast. Snack bar, play grounds, you can even rent golf carts. Professional staffAnd guess what ? NO BED BUGSThankyou.
