★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My husband and I had a great time at Sassy Springs! I forgot to leave a review on Airbnb but wanted to make sure to share my experience! We stayed in a yurt and it was awesome. The campgrounds have lights strung up that make it feel more magical. The staff that works there is also awesome and definitely make us want to go back. I went into the common area looking to hangout with some people and I met Kris who is an absolute riot and convinced me to try some pickle vodka. Let me tell you, that stuff was the bomb. Her son also brought down his entire TV and game console down so we could play together. We ended up forgetting to play but just the fact they go out of there way so much to make it fun is worth mentioning. Definitely recommend staying here and mingling with the folks who work and live on the property. They had me laughing so hard my gut hurt! We will definitely be back, sooner rather than later!
May 10 · Julia HartsellMy Wife and I spent last weekend at SASSY Springs and couldn't have been more happy with everything that they created. Cory and his family were welcoming, helpful and fun to be around. We felt included in their camping family immediately. The Retreat was clean, the beds were amazing. They have a common area with everything that you would need. Dishes, silverware, pots and pans, glasses etc. Were available. It was clean, hot showers every morning, towels are provided just bring yourself and enjoy. Highly recommend if you are in the area for an alternative to just another hotel.Thank you for the wonderful experience.
October 05 · Paul DankowskyWe had a great stay at Sassy Springs! Cory and Desiree do a wonderful job with the resort and treat all their guests like family! The tents were clean and cool and the property was clean, easy to navigate. There was no trash on site. The chickens are hilarious and the bathrooms are cleaned daily. Great little getaway from the real world in our own backyard. We will be back again!
July 01 · Laura EnrightIf you are looking for a down to earth and relaxing place to stay I highly recommend the Sassy springs retreat! We only spent one night here as a quick stop between states, but we could not have been happier that we picked this place on a whim. The owners did a great job with the decor and are incredibly friendly. It was great to chat with them and hear all about their adventures of building this great setup. Everything was extremely clean and they were very generous. Our two girls had a blast exploring the area and meeting the owners children, who were also wonderful!
July 16 · Elizabeth LeDucWe stayed 2 nights in Sassy Springs retreat in the primitive tent site. Right from Check-in through out the stay we were well taken care of. The site was very private and had lot of fun stuffs and toys for kids to play. The kitchen in the community hall is fully equipped with utensils and loaded with basic groceries. Corrie and his family were amazing, they were so friendly and were ready to help anytime. The glamping sites were beautifully decorated with string lights. The common area had a nice swing, fire pit, hammock etc. The outdoor seating space in the porch had seating arrangement for around 5-6 members.
