Jun 16, 2025 · Sarah Miller-HairNice campground. Quiet. Great location esp if you like to bike or run.Sites are clean. Hookups work. Enjoying our stay.I’d probably tell the little kids to stay out of the crick water.
Jun 13, 2025 · Eisie BuddaieThis is definitely the best campground to stay at if you’re looking for a variety of options near water, amusement parks, and good restaurants. The staff in the office are welcoming and very knowledgeable (Shout out to Abby for teaching us the tips and tricks of how to find beach glass). It has a family feel, but all the amenities of Moore corporate Campground. The sites are comfortable and the campground was peaceful. We will definitely be staying here again.
May 26, 2025 · Elizabeth CohenCampground is in a populated area, between water park and entrance to Presque Isle State Park. Sites were close together and a bit tight getting into, but paved pad and full hook ups. Lots of long-term campers. Lots of kids on bikes and scooters. Everyone was friendly. Bath house was a short walk, clean and nice. Great water pressure, but costs 25¢ for 5 minutes. Price was very reasonable for one night. Right in front of campground (walking distance) is a restaurant serving burgers, hot dogs, ice cream. You order, then eat at picnic tables. Fun place. Very popular with locals. Busy drive thru line. Lots of people getting ice cream. Everything quieted down at a reasonable hour. Glad we stayed there.
Jun 18, 2025 · Danita RobertsAs someone who spent their childhood here this is a sad way to see this campground. My grandparents and family have had seasonal spots and visited this campground for over 30 years. The rules, lack of communication and disrespect for those who have been a part of the Sara "family" is disgusting. We have given more then six figures financially over the years to this campground and I can say for sure I will never set foot in this place.Three generations of our family fell in love with this campground and fell out. I may have had the best memories of my life in this place, but my children will never know the former glory of the campground. Ownership needs to take a hard step back and reflect on what is actually important. Money, or the people who built this place. The Comforts will never return.
