For those living in the bustling urban centers of California, finding a peaceful escape into nature can be a true luxury. Santiago Event Center offers just that – a chance to connect with the serene beauty of the outdoors, all within a convenient distance for Orange County residents. While it has traditionally served as an RV park, providing long-term lodging options, its natural setting makes it an interesting point of consideration for anyone looking for a more extended connection with nature.
The concept of a "campground" often conjures images of rustic tents and temporary stays. However, Santiago Event Center, in its capacity as an RV park, provides a more substantial and potentially long-term outdoor living experience. This article aims to provide a factual and informative overview of Santiago Event Center, drawing upon available public information to help potential visitors understand what this unique location offers.
Santiago Event Center is strategically located at 27100 Baker Canyon Rd, Silverado, CA 92676, USA. The journey to the center typically involves navigating through scenic routes that offer a gradual transition from urban sprawl to natural tranquility. However, it's worth noting that, as with many locations nestled in natural environments, the roads leading to such a destination can sometimes present challenges, such as unpaved sections or variations in road quality, which is a common characteristic of rural access roads in mountainous or hilly terrain. Visitors should be prepared for typical canyon road conditions, which may include dust or uneven surfaces, especially after periods of heavy use or weather events.
The center's location within Baker Canyon provides a true sense of being "away from it all." Surrounded by the natural flora and fauna of Southern California, it offers a distinct contrast to urban living. Santiago Event Center Reviews
I had the pleasure of staying at Santiago Event Center from November 2014 - December 2015. I lived full-time in my travel trailer. It was a peaceful and quiet environment. I was surrounded by nature; I saw deer, snakes, coyotes and bobcats. On clear nights I saw the stars! There are many places nearby for hiking, biking, bird watching and photo opportunities in addition to Santiago. The staff at Santiago Event Center are nice, friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my time there and will stay at Santiago on my vacations to Southern California.
Jan 13, 2016 · KayTee ThomasSantiago Event Center RV Park is the absolute worst RV park I have ever stay at.I had stayed at the park for about 6 month, because it was 20 mins from my contract job, and the location was convenient and the price was affordable compared to other RV parks that where full and 4 times the price. What I had experienced during my stay at Santiago Event Center RV Park.1. They Discriminant against and Harass People with Disabilities. ( I was told that because of my Disability that I should live next to a Hospital, That my Service Dog was not allowed and I should own a puddle.)2. Roads leading to RV park, in bad condition and poorly kept. (Large pot holes and uneven pavement.)3. Dirty, Dusty and RV park unkempt. ( people driving throw park at high rates of speed, RV spots are never cleaned or repaired, No convenient place to throw out garbage. Must truck out you Owen garbage,)4. Loss Dangerous Dogs running about the place off lease. ( My wife had been attacked twice while walking our trained service dog, once it was by the property owners 3 German Shepherds that are allowed to run loss on the property unattended, the other time was by an RV tenet with 2 large dogs, but have had dog run out and after us many times that where loss and off there leashes. My 4 year old Grand Daughter had been chased down the road many times wile play.)5. Utilities outages ( power and water outages accrue on a every other day bases, for more than 4 hours at a time, Water is contaminated and un safe to drink. They have a onsite well and it pumped in to a open water shied, that has Dead animals floating and never clean out of the shied. Shied is unsecured or treated for biologicals,)6. Taints do not pick up after their dogs, Dog poo is all over the place.7. Taint’s Place food and water out close to the RV park for the wild life, (this area has Coyotes, Bob Cats, and Mountain Lions, and by placing food out you are incurring this dangerous animal’s to come in to the RV Park looking for more food.)8. On any given day there is a strong sewage sulfur smell that is over whelming most days9. There is Heavy DRUG and ALCOHOL usage on the property, even while they are having Christian Events, Close by the RV Area, or having Children weekend Events just feet away from where the Kids are playing and sleeping.10. In the 6 months I was there I had been offered to be sold DRUGS and Narcotics 3 or 4 times by other RV Taints.11. All and all I was told to leave the property after 6 months, because I would not get ridge of my service alert animal and that I was a Fraud, with a 1 hour notice after I had already paid for the month 5 days before, and that I would be Physically removed and charged with trespassing, when I told them I needed more time than that to find a place for my 40 foot RV, I was Told by the owner Managers ( Dan and Nicole) that they did not care if I had to sleep on the street.
Oct 03, 2016 · Charles S. BoughtonThey said we would not be welcome at their facility because it is a Christian facility and my boyfriend and I have a child and are not yet married. I'm glad we called ahead because we wouldn't want to stay at a place like that. Matt.7. [1]
