Jun 09, 2025 · Joe BurgeLove camping here. The park is well keep and all the amenities are clean and well keep. We have stayed here for years and as long as I'm able I will continue too. Don't follow the GPS and go in by Trenthill rd if you have much of a camper. Instead go to us 220 and Henry rd. It's just a little farther time wise, but the road is a lot smoother and doesn't have the long hard hills to pull.
May 13, 2025 · ChrisThis Virginia 💞 campground is a gem – sites are spacious and level (a rarity!), the bathhouse sparkles and the hot showers are divine. Plus, the park rangers and deputies' watchful eyes made us feel super safe. This place is clearly well-loved and it shows! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
May 12, 2024 · Abercrombie HitchVery nice for all types of camping!
May 05, 2025 · James MessickOh I love this place. We go every weekend. We've only been to the lake part but we have reserved and paid for lot 54 to camp in a tent. It is so beautiful right on the water! Offers grills and soft areas for your tent! The lake Beach area here is my favorite to go to because it's mostly family's and older people. Very quiet and very nice no drama. When things do occur the park office people and the park officer is right on it making sure it stays family friendly. It's quiet and clean and the workers are so very charming. Since we go so often and have the yearly pass they know us now and they are so great with my son! Wonderful place ❤️🌅 just wonderful. They also have cooking areas for people just visiting the lake. It's a little cut off and so darn peaceful they're stairs leading straight to the water from there! That's our new favorite spot!!
