Rustic Creek Family Campground Reviews
Not much to do at this campground compared to others we have been to. We went for Memorial Day weekend, and the pool wasn’t open yet. They did have a band one evening who was good. On the list of activities they gave us when we checked in and on Facebook they advertised a basket raffle from 2:00-4:00. We walked down at 2:50, and we were told it was at 2:00. Not sure how you can have a basket raffle and expect people to purchase tickets if you pick winners less than an hour into it. The camp store was nice with a variety of food available. There was a large dog park/run (but that is where they set off the fireworks, so there were remnants of fireworks there next day & I didn’t want my dog picking those up, so we didn’t go in.) If you’re looking for a campground to stay at because you’re passing through, it would be fine, but this isn’t one I would recommend staying at for several days.
Jun 15, 2025 · Jennifer SchorrWe have stayed here a couple of times now and it’s clear that the new owners are working very hard to make it a great camp ground. Holiday weekends full of family activities including an excellent fireworks show. Everyone in the office and the grounds crew are very friendly. We will be back! Thanks again Mark!
May 29, 2025 · John SorberMy husband and I love this campground. The sites are big the campground is very clean and they have alot of events and tons of things for kids to do.This weekend they had an amazing fireworks display and basket raffle. Lots of fun memories
May 26, 2025 · Tara CallahanOk the campground was amazing! Our power wasn’t working when we first got there and they fixed it right away. It was clean and very friendly! The bathrooms are really beautiful and clean! They have so much to do for the kids! The only issue I had was the neighbors. I hardly complain, but we wanted to get away to relax and all they did was blast music. It was so loud we couldn’t hear anything of ours. When you go to a place like this, you have to think about people around you and they did not. It’s not a party spot in the woods, it’s a family campground, listen to music but keep it at a decimal you and your party can hear, not the whole park. I didn’t complain but others did and they eventually turned it down, but it went from the time they got up 10 am until 11 pm the first night and we couldn’t even fall asleep or watch our tv. It was really miserable. And when they woke the next morning, it started all over again, finally around 5 is when they turned it down. They also kind of started taking over spots on my camp spot and took my parking spot. They needed a group site, not a regular site. So if you go here and I recommend you do, just remember there are people around you, don’t blast the music, keep it so only you and your party can hear. How you respect those around you shows how you are as a person. I tried to post a few videos but it won’t let me. Added video of how loud their music was. And this wasn’t even at the loudest. They ended up hooking up a big speaker making it even louder. In order to watch the videos, use google maps.
May 27, 2025 · ItzApril LOLNot really sure how to review this campground as we have not been to it, but the customer service is what I will be reviewing. This is my opinion and should be taken as such.We booked with them prior to the flood. We moved our reservation to April of this year-2025.We tried and tried to communicate with them about a booking with no avail. Our friends had booked under their name and we paid our friends. We wanted to support them after the flood and the tough time that they were going through.Well, our friends got blocked and cannot see their FB page. They refused to offer a refund and replied that they will just keep the money. After a long dispute with the CC company, monies were finally refunded.Be cautious is all that I can say.Best of luck and travel safely.
