As a family-run and privately owned campground with a strong focus on community and personalized service, Rudy's Cabins and Campground may not widely advertise traditional, short-term promotions like larger chain campgrounds. However, their operational model and customer reviews suggest inherent value and potential opportunities for savings, particularly for those interested in longer stays or becoming seasonal campers.
- Seasonal Camping Program: A significant portion of their sites are dedicated to seasonal campers, indicating a strong long-term community. While specific pricing details for seasonal rates are best obtained directly from the owners, this option often provides substantial savings compared to nightly or weekly stays. The "constant communication with all campers through a chat" during winter months points to a well-supported seasonal community.
- Value-Added Service: The personalized assistance, such as John and Kathleen helping campers move and level their RVs, is a service that goes beyond typical campground offerings and adds significant value to the camping experience, particularly for new or less experienced RV owners. While not a "discount," it's a unique benefit.
- Affordable Pricing (Implied): While specific nightly/weekly rates are not provided in the reviews, the consistent high praise for the owners and the "best campground" sentiment, combined with the "family" atmosphere, suggests that campers perceive the value to be excellent for the price.

Rudy's Cabins and Campground Reviews
We have been seasons for a few years and absolutely love Kathleen and John! They are amazing people who only care and give their 100% to their campers. This campground is the best. Bathhouse is heated with washer and dryer showers and toilets and kitchen sink. Everyone here is so friendly and we all have the same passion of camping. This is my happy place and I love being greeted with John and Kathleen each weekend. They have truly made our camping experience amazing. We are full hooked up, we just brought our newer camper up and John and Kathleen both helped moved us out of the older camper into the new. They both got us level hooked up, a service you will not get anywhere else. We can’t thank them enough they are family! During the winter we get updates and are in constant communication with all campers through a chat.. can’t thank them both enough! Rudy’s is the place to be!

Aug 30, 2022 · Bonita BurdenThru-hiking the Cohos Trail southbound and stayed at rudys campgrounds. One of the sweetest ladies I've ever met. She picked us up on a dirt road because she knew we would have had to walk up a Long Hill. She was very very hospitable. Offer to get a quarters to take a shower that night (830pm) which would have been an additional drive for her. She showed us the bathhouse and made sure we were at the campsite super close to it. After hiking 21 miles that meant a lot to us. Next day she offered to drive us back to the trail. Talk about hospitality. If you hike, drive atvs, snowmobiles, or you want to leaf peep I would recommend Rudys Campground!
Oct 06, 2020 · Jameson GiamoIf I could give this place a zero, I'd do so.. Bought a camper from what I thought was a private sale . I was told it was at Rudy's and could be seen there.. Was told it was on a seasonal site which was in fact what we were looking for and that the site was paid up through July. This transpired in May. So we decided to Buy the camper and that there was a title and would be handed over to us in a few weeks because he didn't have the title handy at that time.. He had bought it from a friend and That friend so happens to have a site at the campground as well. So because we were planning on staying at the site for the season, we decided to give it a go. Didn't tell me that it was The owner Kathleen's brother whom had owned it and had the title. The first night we arrived, there was no electricity even though they were well aware that we'd be arriving.. The next day Kathleens *not an electrician* husband John boy dug and ran a wire to our unit post with the wrong gaged wire which would not allow us to use 2 things at once, only half of our lighting, could never cook and have fridge going at the same time. They were trying to push us out right after the rate for the seasonal site was purchased ( knowing we still had no title and wouldn't be able to move the camper) They raised the electric 75% + 3 weeks in , even though it hardly worked at all.. I had to sell the camper for a huge discounted price due to having no title even though I built in Two TVs and Redid the flooring. Later found out it was another one of Kathleen's husbands friends that bought the camper and it was a scam they have going on over there.. They sell campers and then the site, and then rebuy them for half the price once you've paid for the site.. John and Katherine are very dishonest...be aware!
