Rose Creek Retreat Reviews
We stayed here few days back for a night. The host is so nice and friendly. I really feel bad for asking him for firewood at 12 am, he was very accepting, and brought us firewood. One of the best hosts I have met till now.The view from the campsite is really good. Its a private spot, so no one complains about noise. In the night, the sky was cloudy, but in 30 mins or so, it became clear, and the moment i looked up, it was a sky full of stars. I could see the milky way clearly. Highly recommend this campsite for people who want to do stargazing.

Jul 04, 2019 · Vivi TsaiThe campsite was incredible.Next to a road but rarely any cars. Eagle nest in tree atop rock formation 100 meter away. Great view of the river. Small hut was perfect. This is one of the most beautiful places I've camped. Sol impressed us with his knowledge of the ecosystem as well as his communication skills. He pointed out edibles and explained the history of region while we oohed and ahhhed. Lovely person. We also saw the other campsite which was shaded and private. Thanks Sol!
Aug 12, 2019 · Logan HallajThe hut was a luxury after a long day of driving. Sol greeted us upon arrival and gave us a tour of his property. His tour was riddled with his expertise and background in geology, specifically riparian restoration, as well as his passion for his community. He educated us on the history and previous land use of the Rose Creek Retreat and the surrounding area. That night my party and I shared a campfire with a female deer and her fawn and woke up the next morning to a stunning view of the Columbia River. 10/10 would come back to do some more exploring.
Sep 13, 2019 · shrtywnarydeWe stayed here last weekend in the Rose Garden site. It is a beautiful place with spectacular views of the Columbia River. I could have sat there all day and watched the ships travel up and down the river. The owners have restored the site beautifully and are a wealth of knowledge about native plants and foraging. We will definitely return when the weather is a little less rainy.
