Whether your goal is a quick, economical stopover with essential hookups or a few days of relaxation by the pool and fishing pond, Rock Ridge Campground stands out as a genuine, value-focused option in the Sims/Wilson area of North Carolina.
Rock Ridge Campground boasts a highly convenient location in the eastern North Carolina town of Sims, situated in Wilson County. This accessibility is a major benefit for travelers using the busy I-95 corridor, which connects much of the East Coast. It is just a short, manageable distance off a major interstate exit, minimizing drive time on local roads while still providing a secluded environment.
The official address is 7030 Rock Ridge School Rd, Sims, NC 27880, USA. For those utilizing GPS or highway directions, the campground is easily found:
- It is located approximately one mile northwest of the junction of I-95 and NC-42 (Exit 116), making it an ideal stopover for "snowbirds" or travelers commuting between the Northeast and Florida.

- Despite its closeness to major routes, the campground manages to maintain a very quiet and peaceful atmosphere, giving guests the best of both worlds: convenience and country solitude.

July 24 · Jim StegerRock Ridge Campground was such a peaceful treat on our long route to Maine; the keeper of the grounds- Dale, was a wonderful help both communicating before and during the stay. I was able to check in and get hooked up with Dales help. The property itself is beautiful and peaceful with beautiful South African Longhorns across the way to see 🌟

Mr. Billy & his wife are great people and are always willing to help & make our stay more comfortable. Just a really comfy place to call our temporary home.
