Amazing time! Not sure how we have never been here before. We came for Band Camp and Cantina for the Con and loved every minute of it! The campground is beautiful and clean. The owners are amazing and accommodating to every need. Our children had a blast getting slurpees, ice cream, hotdogs, pastries and playing tether ball . The bands were amazing. We can’t wait to come back! Thanks for a fantastic time! - Elyssa Bretz

Robbs Resort Introduce

Welcome to Robbs Resort, a truly distinctive and vibrant destination nestled in the scenic landscapes of Pollock Pines, California. Far more than just a campground, Robbs Resort has carved out a unique niche as a premier venue where the beauty of the Sierra Nevada mountains meets exciting live entertainment and a friendly, community-focused atmosphere. This "resort" truly lives up to its name, offering a higher standard of cleanliness and amenities compared to many traditional campgrounds, all while being embraced by the stunning natural surroundings of the Crystal Basin. Guests rave about the beautiful, clean, and level RV sites, the dust-minimizing gravel roads, and the expansive, picturesque meadow out back – a testament to the care and dedication of its owners. Whether you're drawn by the allure of a lively "Band Camp" weekend, a family escape filled with outdoor fun, or simply a peaceful retreat in nature, Robbs Resort provides an unforgettable experience that blends comfort, entertainment, and the rugged charm of California's wilderness.

Robbs Resort is conveniently located at 14216 Ice House Rd, Pollock Pines, CA 95726, USA, placing it strategically within the heart of the Eldorado National Forest's Crystal Basin Recreation Area. This location offers an ideal balance of accessibility and immersion in nature for Californians traveling from various parts of the state. To reach Robbs Resort, visitors typically turn onto Ice House Road from U.S. Highway 50. From Highway 50, you'll travel approximately 21.25 miles on Ice House Road. A helpful landmark to note is Cheese Camp Road on your right, about 0.25 miles before you arrive at Robbs Resort; the resort will be the very next right-hand turn after Cheese Camp Road.

This route is generally well-maintained, allowing for easy access for all types of vehicles, including large RVs, which are a common sight at the resort. Despite its deep forest setting, the access road is described as gravel, which helps keep dust down – a significant plus for campers. While it feels wonderfully remote and surrounded by towering pines and granite landscapes, Robbs Resort remains reachable for those seeking both adventure and comfort. Its location provides excellent access to a multitude of nearby attractions within the Eldorado National Forest, including Union Valley Reservoir and the famed Rubicon Trail. Although cell service can be spotty directly at the resort, it is reportedly available about a quarter-mile away at Cheese Camp Road, offering a balance between connectivity and an unplugged experience. The ease of navigation combined with its spectacular natural setting makes Robbs Resort a highly desirable destination for California locals.
