Awesome little spot! Great hiking, clean outhouses, on site water, dog friendly, beautiful riverside hiking, and extremely quiet. I will be back!
Jun 10, 2018 · Taylor Maid (TaylorGang)I love the Roaring River! Please open the campsites on the Clackamas!
Jun 07, 2025 · Matthew Litkie Painting Contractor. since 1972Lil problem... I lot of the sites are wrecked by trees that have fallen. They have somewhat been cleaned up, (stumps are laying everywhere) It was hard to find a flat enough spot in both of our campsites for tents. But there is two nice spots to go to the river, within walking distance. The bathroom/vault toilet was really clean. And Mike the camp host was FABULOUS too!!
Aug 04, 2016 · Charyl BeardCamp Ranger Brian was amazing! Our group was in a pinch for a spot on a Friday night and he was very accommodating in helping us find one for us in the Mt Hood Forest and very friendly!
Sep 03, 2014 · TMI CjSmall campground loop next to the highway. River noise helps drown out road noise a bit. Great tasting water out of the hand pump.
