Riverfront Campground

4.0
This is my favorite place to be! This is our 5th year coming here and we are sad every time we pull away. The regulars are like family. The new campers we meet are so happy to have found this gem and always return. The kayak trips are a great time. The views are unbeatable. My entire family loves it here. The grandkids enjoy it rain or shine. We catch catfish off the bank without having to leave our site. It’s so peaceful to sit in your chair in the river and absorb the nature, it’s a scenic wonderland. Our pup is also the happiest he’s ever been when we come to camp. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place and the memories we have made. We have a generator but rarely use it, the riverfront spots offer a breeze and shade, a fan, a hammock and great friends and family to share the experience is all I need to be happy here. - Becca Sauter

Promotions or Special Offers

Specific, detailed promotions for Riverfront Campground are not extensively listed in the available public information. However, based on the nature of the campground and common practices, several elements suggest value and potential for savings:

  • Affordable Pricing:

One of the customer reviews explicitly states, "It's also cheap," indicating that the standard rates at Riverfront Campground are already considered a good value for the experience provided. This suggests that the campground's regular pricing might be competitive and budget-friendly for many Pennsylvania locals.

  • Seasonal Stays/Regulars:

The strong community of "regulars" returning year after year implies that the campground might offer favorable rates for seasonal campers or those who book extended stays. As a smaller, independent campground, booking directly with Riverfront Campground via phone might allow for more personalized discussion about rates or any unadvertised specials, especially for repeat customers or groups.

  • Off-Season Appeal:

While not a direct discount, visiting during the off-season (spring or fall) is often less expensive at many campgrounds due to lower demand. Reviewers mention preferring the off-season here, which could indirectly lead to a more peaceful experience at a potentially lower cost if the campground adjusts rates by season (common practice).
