Jun 15, 2025 · Justin & Jen StarkAwesome camping. It's on a prime river location and the owner offers good communication. He sent us a text saying he would be off the premises when we arrived and would return that evening. Everything is clean and works as it should. What my wife and I really like is that the spots are spacious and quiet. Kinda feels... undiscovered. It's a great place to enjoy the river.
Aug 05, 2024 · Justin HodgeWe had such a lovely time at this small campground on the river that has a nice balance between providing amenities and keeping enough of a rustic forest feel. After kayaking down the river from town and getting out at or campsite, we had dinner watching the river flow, the beaver swim and the fireflies twinkle. We also had fun on their round swings. Joe was extremely helpful, kind and accommodating. And the cat was a very welcoming greeter!
May 20, 2024 · K CWe stayed on the campsite for 3 nights. The river runs through the campsite which is pretty cool. The roads towards the site are very narrow. Not for faint heart. Low hanging tree branch along the way. Do not try to come here at night, it will be hard. It's pretty dark. We didn't see any staff or the office. They seem to be closed even during office hours which is inconvenient when you want to do laundry, it's inside the office. If you are looking for overnight do not bother to come here. The road is not worth it.
