River Park Campground Reviews
We stayed here for a week last month. The campground was quiet and peaceful- close to hiking trails which we enjoyed. Rich the owner was very helpful- jumped our car with a dead battery. He delivers wood right to the campsite and keeps the campground clean. We will definitely be back again-!
Sep 16, 2020 · suzie nahanI've stayed here twice in the past two years and the experience went from good to great! The owner, Rich, has clearly been putting in hard work to improve the grounds and make everyone's stay as enjoyable as possible. Even when i had some vehicle trouble he was able to direct me to an extremely helpful local mechanic to get me fixed up and back on the road. I WILL be back again and look forward to what's in store for the future!
Oct 13, 2016 · Colin ColeThe owner was very nice and very hard working. However there is a lot to be said for this semi rustic campground. The temps were in the high 90's with high humidity and the breakers kept breaking. If you ran the air-conditioner you couldn't plug anything else in.The bathroom on the one side for the ladies had two showers one of which was out of order and no lights and no mirror. The other bathhouse had two showers one with a huge piece of hair that was there for the whole 9 days we were there. The river is not very big here, out of the owners control I know. Just so you know. The roads getting into this place are not in the greatest of shape either. Again I know the owners have no control over that, but so you know. This park has very few rentable sites, most are tied up with year round people, who don't have to follow the rules.Camp store was never open while we were there. They ran out of ice to sell too. Had to go to town for that.No cell service. Just an FYISorry to say we will not be back.
Jul 09, 2018 · Jean FaubleWe needed a spot for our camper right away an Rich had one available. Life saver really. Very helpful an professional great deal and location will add photos at a later date
Jan 04, 2024 · Daniel ReynoldsWe stayed here for 2 nights with our dogs. What a wonderful experience! We have no complaints at all. Everyone was super friendly, clean restrooms, awesome fireworks display for the 4th of July. It wasn't over crowded, even on a beautiful holiday weekend.
