Ridge Top RV Campground Reviews

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We were in the the process of building a new cabin and we needed a place to set up our RV. Ridge Top was the perfect spot, comfortable, not right on top of each other and plenty of shade to keep the trailer cool. I would recommend this to any RV people out there. Alan & Marla were extremely helpful with many things and the internet was spot on. Thanks again to Alan & Marla PS our dog loved it to plenty of space to run around
July 14 · stephen dugasI have always paid attention to people who have had experience in any area that I needed some good advice. I wanted to write this review months ago but being very very new to RVing...well we had no experience. However since around the time we departed Ridge Top I can honestly say there wasn't a day that has gone by that I didn't wish we were there! I truly miss Alan and Marla's help and guidance. But they weren't pushy at all about it kinda waited for us to ask them or figure it out for ourselves. They would always seem to pass by when we needed them and never acted as if it bothered them at all. They are two of the most generous and amiable people we have ever had the pleasure to meet. This is their home and they strive to make it yours too. That's it I guess...we were at home. Their home is their business and they have set it up well not too many spaces (so you better get a space if one's available) not too close together. It's only a few miles from town but theres no noise from traffic. Everyone there is friendly but respects others privacy. It's not all seniors either I know one young couple had been there before us and after. Most people there work during the day. There's no thru traffic just the people there. We had a space with sewer electric and water and during the worst storms everything stayed up and running. Somehow I knew Alan was in the background keeping it all together. And if brawn and know how couldn't get it Marla would figure it how and make it work. We were there when Alan was voted County Commissioner (no small feat) always good to have a good woman rooting for ya. This place compared to a few State Parks and individually owned campgrounds that we have experienced since being at Ridge Top has made me so homesick. We've bought 4.61 acres in Traphill Alan and Marla I need you here!!! Love your home thank you for sharing it with us
January 05 · Alane GavagniI stayed a week on their property and enjoyed every minute of the peace and quiet time. Rex the camp host helped me get my trailer in a tight turn which all worked out great. Once I got set up it was like heaven! Marla and her daughter stopped by to see Buddy, my French Bulldog. Buddy just couldn’t get enough fun time with her he loved the attention. I recommend this Rv camp ground 100%.
April 23 · David BoucherWe stayed at Ridge Top for 6 months. The price was great as was the service. Alan and Marla are great hosts! They are friendly and can get you in touch with any service you might need in the area. There are lots of trails to walk dogs on and the campground is very quiet. We loved our time there!
December 27 · Kristina TomeyGreat hosts, price, and property! May need 4wd if rainy when pulling a camper up the hill but totally fine 2wd when not pulling camper.Cool trails to walk the pup and we're able to get mail and packages which is a huge help for us.Definitely the lowest monthly rent of any campgrounds we looked at.Highly recommend even for short term it's a great located close to town
