Warning: we got pretty lost on the trail in the camp grounds. There was no water the summer we went, although it stormed over night but was pretty dry by morning. So we ended up in the water bed for the water fall JUST ABOVE THE OVERLOOK. Had no clue till much later! Like a year later, but it was a beautiful trip. Just stay cautious - be certain of your trail there and back! We also ran across some old mine or stack items with sharp metal scattered about in a small area. We ended up I think in the wrong place. But here are some pics! - Ace DIY Crafts

Reef Campground is situated in the scenic Huachuca Mountains, part of the Coronado National Forest. Its address is Hereford, AZ 85615, USA. The journey to the campground is part of the adventure, offering breathtaking views as you ascend from the desert floor. The site is accessible by car, with many visitors noting that while a sedan can make the trip, a vehicle with four-wheel drive or all-wheel drive is recommended, particularly for added peace of mind on the mountain roads. It's a manageable drive of about 45 minutes from Highway 92 South, making it a convenient escape for those in the Sierra Vista and Hereford areas. The journey itself provides a transition from the lower desert elevation to the cooler, more forested mountain environment.

The journey up offers stunning vistas and the anticipation of arriving at a peaceful retreat. Once you reach the campground, you'll find a clear and easy-to-navigate layout, with well-defined sites that are easy to find and settle into.
