Redmond / Central Oregon KOA Holiday Reviews
This place is a total dump and a blight on KOA's good reputation. The restrooms/shower rooms were disgusting. Even though they claim to "clean" them every morning, the smell of urine in there is overwhelming all day long. It would take too long to detail everything wrong with this place. I wouldn't stay there again if it was free.
Jun 30, 2025 · Cole ManProbably one of the worst KOAs we have stayed at. Barking dogs, no reliable electricity(bad when you travel with heat sensitive people and dogs). We could not run our air conditioning at all. We woke up to no power... We packed up and got the hell out of there. Definitely would not recommend for travel trailers that rely in reliable electricity.
Jun 16, 2025 · Suzi Jones-AlanizRoom had mouse poo on the counters and the floor, the power kept going out. The restrooms were nasty and one worker was clearly on something as her behaviour was quite alarming. I reported her but the owners didn't seem to care. And when i reported our dirty cabin i was given massive attitude by the female owner. The propane wasn't filled until hours after I had asked it to be. And honestly the male owner gave me the im gonna find a toilet camera vibe. So I will definitely not be returning.
Feb 15, 2025 · Oregon ProudWe stayed in the “Deluxe cabin”. Which is an outdated mobile home. When we arrived the door was wide open and we found cat throw up on a pillow. The front room was furnished with metal framed lawn furniture. There were outlets that were loose to the wall. There are no pictures of the inside of the cabin for a reason. It’s outdated for the most part. There is a very nice fridge, oven, and tv however. This is also our first time to be at a KOA and feel uncomfortable. There are some permanent residents in trailers next to us. I did worry about my belongings at night and the safety of my girls. The trailer right next to the “cabin” had was very trashy and had belongings spread out all over. I will never be returning to this KOA. As well as I do not suggest staying here. Especially in the “deluxe cabin”.
Mar 27, 2025 · Kyle dicksongreat campsite far enough from road for some quite, beautiful views, and very clean and spacious sites/facilities. This is the best/cleanest camp showers I have found in ages. Their camp store is very well stocked and clean with an outstanding selection of beers, foods, and general essentials. They have tons of entertainment options for families with a very cool playground and pool setup. Their staff (Riley and Lisa) were so kind and accommodating. I have always been leery of KOA but this place has changed my mind. well worth the extra drive from redmond or even bend if your headed north.
