So far the communication with these people have been absolutely like having a tooth pulled. I included several questions when I made the reservations and got no response. So I emailed again and they seem put out to answer them. And just a FYI - you are like me and thought by the description saying, "Kayaks are provided as well as drop-off upriver." that meant that the cost of kayaks were included in your rental, you'd be wrong just as I was. There is also mention of a hot tub when you are finalizing the reservation under general but I'm gonna guess that is my error as well. - Tina Smart

Introduction / Overview

For Kentuckians seeking an elevated outdoor experience that blends the raw beauty of nature with the comforts of home, Red River Gorge Glamp Camp offers a distinctive "glamping" opportunity. Located in the heart of the iconic Red River Gorge Geological Area, this destination provides a unique way to immerse yourself in the wilderness without fully roughing it. Glamping, a portmanteau of "glamorous camping," often features pre-set accommodations that include real beds, electricity, and other amenities typically not found in traditional campsites. While one past review highlighted challenges with communication regarding reservations, included services like kayaks, and the presence of a hot tub, another praised the "beautiful place tucked right in the Red River Gorge" and its "peaceful with nature all around you" atmosphere. This suggests that while clarifying details upfront is crucial, the inherent natural setting remains a significant draw. Red River Gorge Glamp Camp aims to provide a memorable and comfortable stay, allowing visitors to fully appreciate the stunning natural surroundings without the extensive setup involved in conventional camping.

Location and Accessibility

Red River Gorge Glamp Camp is strategically located at 391 Sky Bridge Rd, Stanton, KY 40380, USA. This address places it deep within the breathtaking Red River Gorge Geological Area, a world-renowned natural landmark celebrated for its unique sandstone arches, towering cliffs, and intricate trail system. For Kentucky residents, reaching this glamping destination involves a scenic drive into Eastern Kentucky. Stanton serves as a primary gateway town to the Red River Gorge, and the Glamp Camp's position on Sky Bridge Road indicates close proximity to some of the area's most popular attractions and trailheads.
