Red Canyon Campground

Campground ★4.0

Red Canyon Campground Rd, Dutch John, UT 84023, USA

4.0
This isn't a bad campground but I didn't love it. Beautiful views but kind of barren. I'd guess, however, that most places around here are. Not a lot of trees and not a lot of shade. That's ok. You can play in the water to keep cool. The thing that I really didn't like was just how rocky the ground was. We found it impossible to put in 8 stakes for our family tent; some would go in but, inevitibly, others wouldn't even start. Maybe it was just our site. The others from our group in the adjacent site didn't complain. - Dan McConkie
