Campground ★4.0

Uinta Wasatch Cache National Forest, Richmond, UT 84333, USA

4.0
Our experience at Red Banks Campground was delightful. We arrived on the second week of September, The last weekend before it closed for the season. The camp ground was beautiful as the autumn leaves were turning. From camp, we traveled to Bear Lake for dinner and to Logan to the Farmers Market. Closer to camp was the road to Tony's Grove, just one mile South and the road to Franklin Basin was just a few miles to the North. Both were breath taking. The camp hosts, Rusty and Tina really made the experience for us. They showed us to their favorite campsite, right on the Logan River. They were so friendly and accommodating. They helped us set up and fill out the registration fee card. Over the two days we had several pleasant conversations with them. I was really impressed with how well they maintained the campground. The pit toilets were clean and freshly painted. There was not a speck of litter in the whole campground. They couldn't have been better "Host" and again, they really made the experience a delight for us.The first photo was the view from our camp trailer, camp site. The second photo was from Franklin Basin. The Quaken Aspen and fall colors were splendid. - Randy Chatelain
