Great campground. We stayed at the A-Frame and enjoyed privacy. The wall of the A-Frame opens up to enjoy the air and scenery of the woods behind. Do note that the mattress in the A-Frame uses queen sheets if you bring any. Watch your head when bending over in the cabin lol.The clubhouse was also really cool and we enjoyed sitting there in the morning with our coffee and playing foosball! - Matt

Promotions or Special Offers

As a professional content writer focused on local business SEO, it's important to provide factual information. Based on the provided data, specific "promotions or special offers" are not explicitly mentioned in the customer reviews or basic contact information for Rays Camp Ground. Most campgrounds, especially those with an already affordable pricing structure, may not frequently run traditional discounts like retail businesses.

However, it is worth highlighting what can be perceived as an ongoing "special offer" or beneficial pricing structure at Rays Camp Ground, which is a significant advantage for many campers, particularly West Virginia locals:

  • Affordable Per-Person Pricing: The most significant "offer" implicitly present is their pricing model of charging per person (e.g., $11 per person per night as noted in a review), rather than a flat rate per campsite. This is a substantial benefit, especially for:
    • Solo Campers: This pricing makes it exceptionally economical for individuals, who often pay the same site fee as a group of four or more at other campgrounds.
    • Smaller Groups: It can also be more cost-effective for a pair or small family compared to campgrounds with higher flat rates that may include amenities they don't fully utilize.
This transparent and flexible pricing is a key draw and acts as a continuous "value promotion" for budget-conscious travelers and solo adventurers in West Virginia.

While explicit, limited-time promotions are not detailed, potential visitors interested in any current deals, group rates, or off-season discounts should always:

  • Contact Directly: The most reliable way to inquire about any specific promotions or current pricing details is to call Rays Camp Ground directly using the provided phone numbers.
  • Check for Online Updates: If Rays Camp Ground maintains a website or social media presence (which is common for modern businesses), they might post any seasonal offers or special packages there. However, this information was not provided in the source material.

Given the already highly praised affordability and unique amenities, the "value" proposition of Rays Camp Ground stands as its primary, consistent "offer" to the local West Virginia community and beyond.
