Railroad Campground

Campground ★4.0

Hanover, NM 88041, USA

4.0
My friends and I stayed here for two nights. We did not expect it to be very cold but had enough blankets, inflatable beds, and a sleeping bag to use. We loved that it looked like a private area due to the road leading towards the back of the mountain. It had a picnic table and grill. The restroom facility was well-kept, and there were three trash bins for us to use. Another road led further back, and we found a trail to hike. The trail was 1.5 miles. We took plenty of photos and videos. Towards the end of the trail, we saw cattle roaming around. Our trip was short, but nature always makes it worth it. WE RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. - Melissa Solares
