Whether you're a seasoned camper or looking for a simple getaway with family and friends, this spot provides a fantastic base to explore the stunning natural landscape of the Prescott region.
Dispersed camping, for those unfamiliar, means camping in a designated area outside of a formal campground, without amenities like restrooms, picnic tables, or designated fire rings. Prescott Basin Dispersed Campsite 12 offers a fantastic introduction to this type of camping, providing a sense of seclusion while still being relatively easy to access. Prescott Basin Dispersed Campsite 12 Reviews
Amazing camp ground. Went there a couple weeks ago. Its pretty large, you could probably go there with like 15 people. Place was clean and road was easy for just about any car or van to get to. We drove up in a old 2001 car and a camper, no problen at all. There's a stream down the path not to far. Very quite besides this occasional car that would go drifting down the dirt road, other than that great place will be coming back here again
March 01 · George PicayNice spot, right off the road. There is some traffic but I was not bothered. There was some trash around which I picked up. I enjoyed my stay and would come back. Sign states 7 day limit.
September 27 · Dale WThis place is gross! I’ve been all over the country and I’ve never seen such disgusting trash filled sites. Even the ranger drove by, I waved and he just looked mad and didn’t wave. I came to Prescott to bike but will never stay here again! It’s like getting to a dirty public restroom that you have to sleep in. I also drove way up the road and checked out all the sites, all gross and the further up you go the worse it gets. It’s sad. I would pick up trash but I don’t even know where to start and I didn’t bring a f-in hazmat suit or gloves .
December 21 · Sara MosherRough road. Uneven spots. Traffic. People disrespecting our land🤬
March 30 · Bryan B.Couldn't camp whew we stopped when though there wasn't any markings saying we couldn't. It had obviously been used by other camper before which left the place full of garbage. We cleaned up the campsite just in time for the ranger to tell us we had to move,
