Plymouth Rock Campground Reviews
Great place to go, love that It has 3 pools. But hate the fact that the office is closed Monday and Tuesday. As well the Campus store is closed Monday- Wed, so if you need any ice or anything you have to go all the way into town. Plus there is no change machine for the laundry room ,and to use the app for the machine you pay double.
Jul 02, 2025 · robert eckertWe paid for cabin a week before we were to arrive. We arrived on a Friday and everything online said hours of operation were 9am 8 pmWe arrived at 5:30 and the office was closed with a note on the door saying “ we closed early contact the ranger. After finally figuring this out and being stuck outside the campground because they bars that raise and let your car in. Also because no one was in office I couldn’t even get into the campground.I got inside by the ranger. Then I found out I couldn’t rent golf carts or do anything we wanted. All because no one was around after 5 pm like they advertisedOn Saturday morning at 9 am the office opened and I said I wanted to rent a golf cart. The man in the office said “ you have to pay for 2 days that’ll be $160 dollarsI said” Sir I arrived last night but no one was here. I tried to do all this like your website says”He said “ sorry nothing I can do”This campground has literally 40 golf carts not being used behind the cabin I rented.I asked to speak with someone that can make a real decision. They said there’s no one hereI’m willing to pay $80 for just the day I’m here because you guys closed early, and I got screwed. They say “No pay $160”This is horrible. No common sense or business skills. You have 40 golf carts sitting and you won’t take my $80 and let me rent 1 because you closed early and no one knew the day before?Really upset because we really liked this place and were excited on our first visitDo better. If you have 40 golf carts just let people rent them. If you close 3 damn hours early, that’s not my fault. So incredibly rude at the front desk to not let us rent carts. Absolutely horrible treatment
Jun 07, 2025 · David McLaughlinWe stayed in a cabin there and had a pleasant experience with that. The campground is LOUD. People played unreasonably loud music the ENTIRE weekend. People honking at each other in front of the main office (no intervention by staff). Ranger just drives by and says nothing. If you’re looking for a relaxing place to stay away from home- look ELSEWHERE!I’m all for minding your own business, but when you can’t sit by the fire without feeling like you’re at a concert-no thanks. Called the Ranger, he told me he can “go ask politely to have them turn it down at 11:00pm”.The grounds are nice, but it unfortunately doesn’t make up for the lack of rules and common courtesy. If you’re looking for a party atmosphere, like a trailer park with fire pits this may be right up your alleyI took a video, but unfortunately can’t post it.NOT WORTH THE $460– look elsewhere!!!
May 24, 2025 · Lauren LOffice hours not amendable to.the needs of guests 7 days of the week. At check-in office attendant was not very friendly. Other than that campground and location were excellent
Jun 21, 2025 · Nicholas JuleenGreat place for kids, and at the same time, not a great place for kids. If you have young children, camp with some caution in mind. It’s a resort; while there are so many fun things to do, there is A LOT of golf cart traffic. The posted speed limit is 10mph, but you’ll have carts and cars zoom past you well above that all weekend long, so be mindful. The 3 amazing pools are no-smoking, but adults of all kinds will sit there with their vape pens in the pool, puffing clouds, as your kids are trying to enjoy the water, so find a spot upwind and realize society has just become ignorant and selfish. The seasonal sites, on Friday, “clean-up” for the weekend, and burn their brush, so when you are setting up or going for a nice stroll to the park, steer clear of the clouds of brush and lawn-waste smoke the bellows for a few hours. On other notes, the staff is very nice. Every encounter I had with them was pleasant, always had a smile and offered information freely and friendly. Mini-Golf is free and is a nice course, all the parks are fun for kids of all ages and all the bathrooms were clean. Lastly, research Road America’s schedule before booking. We picked a weekend that was loud all day (8am to the evening) racing some loud cars. Vintage days and public track days are better as the noise levels won’t be so distracting. Happy Camping!
