I have not had the chance to go camping since before Covid. This was a very nice experience. It was the first time my husband and I ever rented the camper for just the two of us. It was well worth it and the right amount of room. I know you can technically fit more people in a camper, but it’s nice to just have it be two people and the space that you need. We rented it out for two nights. The camper itself has everything you would need and then some even things that you wouldn’t think about although do you remember to bring your own soap and shampoo. Towels, toiletries and kitchen wears were supplied, as well as your basic salt and pepper. The fridge was clean and empty, ready for you to store your goodies for the weekend. They even had pots pans, and a colander for pasta. There was also an outdoor kitchenette on the camper, which was a nice little bonus. it rained all weekend but for the short time that it stopped, we use the awning and decided to just go for it. they’ve got a fire pit and chairs ready for you to go with for a very reasonable price for sale on the campgrounds which makes it very easy. The wood is perfectly seasoned for burning.. there is heat and AC. The owners also included a small plug-in portable kind of heater which is really nice if you wanted some warm but didn’t want the sound of the fan. The portable heater did a good job at keeping us warm in the camper as the whole weekend was in the low 40s. The campgrounds are being renovated. The heated pool is brand new and so are the showers that are on site and on Saturday and Sunday mornings there is awesome fresh coffee available between the hours of eight and 10. The owners are into their second season and doing a fantastic job at renovations. This is an awesome campsite to stay at and I’ve stayed at many over the years and this was by far one of my favorites and I’m not a real big camping person. This was very enjoyable and I would stay there again. If you have any questions or any problems, the owners are around for all of it. They are just fantastic people! oh, and the owners like to play this cute little game with the guest called “where is Gary”? there’s even a cute tic-tac-toe game made by a local for sale. Fun simple game to play when you’re inside the camper on a rainy day! I came home and ordered some coffee! Overall, we had a great time we were definitely overdue for some rest and relaxation! so if you’re going there, bring a book unplugged go for a swim in the warm heated pool and if you’re lacking for a book to read, the owner happens to be a best selling author with a really cool book for sale at the shop and it’s kind of perfect! - Pumpkin Toast
