Pioneer Lakes RV Park Reviews
We had a little weekend getaway for Fathers Day was a little skeptical due to some of the reviews but we had a great experience! We asked if we could move to a different site that had more shade and they moved us without any issues the worker I believe his name was Larry went out of his way he actually took his camper off a lot and left us use the lot and he happened to be on a golf cart and stopped by our site to ask how everything was going. Everyone was very friendly. The bath houses were very well maintained and cleaned. The kids loved the pool! Overall was a great experience we would definitely be back!
Jun 16, 2025 · Courtney SnyderWe were staying at a nearby state park that wasn’t working out for us, so I gave Pioneer Lakes a call after driving by. They were extremely accommodating and were able to get us right in. We stayed here for 2 nights and were pleased overall with our visit. The staff was excellent from the folks in the store, the young lady working the jump pad and the mowing crew. Everyone waved and wanted to make sure everything was ok. The amenities are actually pretty good with the jump pad, a couple of playgrounds, pool and splash pad and gem mining. The kids enjoyed it.I didn’t get a chance to check out the bathhouse, so no comment there. There was a small laundry and a decent camp store with ice cream and snacks. The campground is scenic with the lakes and we enjoyed walking around. I didn’t really care for our site. The hookups and pad were ok, but I didn’t like the location and the blaring sun with no shade. Some of the sites closer to the middle if the campground looked great and I would have preferred those.. It was our first time here, so I didn’t know where the decent ones were. Also, the road back by our site was really rough and the camper and truck were filthy when we left.We have been to many campgrounds and this is a solid middle of the pack type of park. Overall, it is nice and I don’t think most would be disappointed.Just as a side note, I had some work meetings and did have AT&T cell/data coverage here that worked out.
Jun 14, 2025 · Brian BoswellThe park was extremely clean, you can tell that the employees take pride in the appearance of the park. The staff was helpful and courteous. The goats and pony were a huge hit with my boys. The only gripe I have is with the site widths a few more feet per site would make a big difference. But that will not keep us from camping there again soon!
Apr 29, 2025 · Jesse SpazianiBeautiful campground! We stayed in Lakeside Sanctuary 2 which is handicap accessible. You are steps from the lake and it is so peaceful to sit and look at. The kitchen is fully stocked but you do have to bring your own linens, towels, blankets and pillows. The cabin does have the smallest TV ever which is probably like 14 inches but no one goes to a campground for the television. The camp store has everything needed (including boozy slushies 🍷) and check in was a breeze. The women that work there are lovely.
May 18, 2025 · Brandie CurryThe nicest people work and stay at this campground! We went for Father's Day and there was a DJ at the pool one day, and music at the pavilion later. Clean bathhouses, an excellent selection of Hershey's ice cream at the store, and overall a fun weekend. We will be back!
