May 26, 2025 · Matt McCaffreyThe place is magical and off the beaten path. The sites are well manicured and picturesque. Many cool things to do in the area, one in particular is Providence Canyon. It was too hot for me to properly explore when I was there. But ill definitely be back in cooler months to hike.Lisa the camp host and co-owner of Piney Hills, along with her husband are very attentive without being overbearing. I highly recommend this quaint and beautiful park. Additional bonus, tons of wonderful farm animals! The hosts/owners, will bring you firewood for current cost of $7 dollars a bunch. The park has a very nice bathouse as well. They are expanding the park to include more sites and they also have mini houses or A-frames among others, you can rent for a very fair cost. Can't wait to go back again! Great people, great park! Thanks again Lisa!Sincerely,Christina
Sep 05, 2024 · Christina MariposaMemorial Day weekend could not be more wholesome than staying in this precious place and town. These towns are magical! The campgrounds here, are phenomenal and super well maintained. The horses were our front neighbors and we had live music all the time from the lullabies of the birds. In reality; to be in our 4 elements is what we needed. Lisa is such a graceful lady to do business with! Super attentive and reachable. Thanks Lisa and family, this place is a gem. Precious! SO GREEN! Plus the Little Grand Canyon state park and the Jimmy Carter’s national historic museum are a must visit!
May 27, 2025 · Lyseida DíazMy husband and I decide to do a quick little getaway for his birthday and ended up staying here in the RV. We fed the animals and even got to hold a baby goat that was just born. Lisa and James were amazing hosts. The RV itself was super clean and comfortable. We plan on going back up and next time bringing the family and maybe staying in the A frame. I would definitely recommend you book and stay here. You will not regret it. It was great to just unplug and enjoy the peacefulness.
Jan 30, 2023 · Dawn WilliamsI’ve stayed here twice. Once in a beautiful A-Frame and once in a travel trailer. Both units were clean and comfortable. The bathhouse is also clean and roomy. I loved seeing the farm animals and the wildlife! The staff is super friendly and accommodating. I’d definitely recommend staying here and can’t wait to go back! (The campground is under construction but is coming along nicely and didn’t interfere with my stay).
