Piney Campground Reviews
Camped here on Memorial Day weekend, so I expected a crowd and there was a crowd. As many other people have mentioned there are A LOT of golf carts rolling through. It didn’t bother me but keep it in mind if you’re looking for solitude or whatever.Only stayed one night, so we didn’t get to see much of the campground. Our trip was focused more on the LBL attractions. But based on what I saw, you could hang out in the campgrounds for a few days and make a good trip out of it.The bathroom next to our site was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our camp neighbors were great. We’ll be camping here again.
May 26, 2025 · Jeremy DodsonA Serene Retreat! We stayed at Piney Campground, Land Between the Lakes, for two nights. Each site comfortably fits 2 medium tents, with 30A electricity and water hookups. The highlight is Kentucky Lake, just a short walk away! The views are breathtaking—lush greenery all around. Washrooms and showers are well maintained. There’s a lake beach, volleyball court, and a nearby play area for kids. The staff was courteous, even accommodating our request to switch to a more scenic site.Weather was pleasant, though a tarp helps for light showers.Highly recommend this gem for a memorable camping experience!
Apr 29, 2025 · Anunay PandeyThis is a great place to take the family - beautiful views, a peaceful environment, and great prices. We were visiting from out of town and will definitely be coming back. We stayed in an 8 person cabin because it’s all they had left for the weekend but it was perfect. (Dogs can’t stay in the cabin so make sure you bring a crate/cage to leave on the porch)
Apr 29, 2025 · Stevie KuhnGreat Campground! Returned after many years and it is much the same. Great place for watersports, fishing, biking, and hiking. Only downside is that one has to dodge golf cart traffic if they want to walk the campground.
May 15, 2025 · Gregg FowlerGreat camping spots, but the bath house on the Chestnut Loop had cool showers and no soap for hand washing in the bathroom. BEWARE that the majority of the camp sites do not have water/sewer.
