Pine Point Campground

27699 256th St, Holcombe, WI 54745, USA

4.0
Beautiful area and lots of wildlife! The campsites are not the easiest to back in to, lots of large rocks and logs. But the sites are distant enough from one another. Everything was kept very clean, the bathrooms, playground area and beach. They pick up your garbage enough too. If you need to use a shower there, they are $2 in quarters!!!! There is no change machine nearby on site so make sure you bring quarters. The beach and water was clean but a very small area and people did not follow the rules of having their dogs on the beach and water like the signs posted while we were there!!! And firewood is also pretty pricey, a lot more pricey than other campsites. $6.00. We had a nice time but be prepared it is a little more pricey than other campgrounds. Our site number was #8, I posted photos below in our review. - Kendra Damrow

It’s a popular choice for locals who appreciate a balance of convenience and the immersive beauty of Wisconsin’s waterways.

Visitors to Pine Point Campground frequently praise its stunning natural setting, often highlighting the "beautiful area and lots of wildlife!" The campsites, while sometimes a bit challenging to back into due to "large rocks and logs," are consistently described as "distant enough from one another," offering a sense of privacy that many campers cherish. Cleanliness is a recurring theme in reviews, with mentions of "Everything was kept very clean, the bathrooms, playground area and beach." The efficient garbage pickup is another appreciated detail. While some amenities, like showers requiring quarters ($2 for 5 minutes) and pricier firewood ($6.00), are noted, these are minor considerations for the overall positive experience. Campers with boats particularly enjoy the convenience of a "dock right outside our door" for many sites. Despite a "very small" beach area and occasional issues with dogs on the beach, the clean water and the general peacefulness contribute to a "nice time" had by all, confirming Pine Point as a well-loved local destination for lakeside relaxation and recreation.

Pine Point Campground is conveniently located at 27699 256th St, Holcombe, WI 54745, USA. This address places it in the heart of Chippewa County, in west-central Wisconsin.
