Pine Mountain RV Resort Reviews
What you see on the website about the wooded sites, isn't what they look like in person. The first night there was a full-time camper who scared my grandbabies with her behavior. I believe she was tweaking out. We stayed 4 days lucky we had no one behind or in front of us. The wooded campsites are tight. The new section of the campground is nice. The pool and playground are nice.
Jun 29, 2025 · Ginger FradyIf you are going to see local attractions, this would be a good stopping place. There were plenty of open sites - not sure why we were assigned a site right beside someone else and with no shade. Most Premium sites have shade but the gravel is long gone. It was hard to level the camper because the wedges kept slipping on the grass (long grass). Yes, they let you know ahead of time that the office closes at 4 but that means you do not have access to some of the facilities. You can see that improvements have been made: new grills and new fire rings. Otherwise, it is not very well maintained.
Jun 23, 2025 · Lissa JuneauPros: well maintained property, beautiful grounds, quiet, kind staffCons: out of date amenities such as the “gym” and no dog wash station (common nowadays in RV parks)Overall, pretty nice spot. The only real down side is there aren’t any good grocery stores within half an hour or other activities. The area seems to be a bit run-down as far as tourist type attractions go, but still feels like a safe area.
Jun 05, 2025 · Kimberly WaldronWe have stayed here multiple times but we were a little disappointed this time. A lot of the grass needed mowing, the pool area (surroundings as I don’t think pool itself was open yet) needed some upkeep. There were a lot more “long timers” here than in the past and alot of the sites were messy and unkept and some of the campers needed some repair. There were several campers with dogs off leash at their sites, some on runners various times of the day and one tied to a tree. Clearly states you are not to do this dogs are to be on a 6 foot leash. We love this area and do like to camp here but seems the campground needs some attention in many ways.
Apr 27, 2025 · Terri JacksonWe stayed for one night. When we called, they didn't give any options other than their most expensive cabin. We were told on the phone that the cabin was ready but when we got there at 1:30, we weren't allowed to check in until 3. After checking in, we found out that there were cheaper options available for an easy one night stay, the pool was closed and the store closed at 4. We were unable to use any of the amenities since there wasn't anyone in the store to give us the basketballs, tetherball, keys to steamshower, etc. When we went to cook, we found rodent droppings in several drawers in the kitchen.Long story short, we paid over $230 for a cabin with rodents and that's it. We should have saved money and stayed an additional 15 minutes up the road at a hotel.
