Sep 28, 2023 · Lora HallMy family had been to the public beach area in the past but had never camped until this year. We took a gamble when we couldn't get into our normal campground but we are glad we did because we had a great time. The sites are nice and the proximity to town is great - we loved riding our bikes just a few minutes to get to a grocery store and a few places to eat.
Jul 28, 2024 · Benjamin MoeThe state park that has it all! Paved sites, many with lake access, a great bike path, great hiking, and access to Petoskey. The bathrooms have been remodeled.
Sep 26, 2023 · Stephen DavisThis is my favorite state park in the state of Michigan. You are only a few minutes walk from the lake. The restrooms and showers were very clean and everyone is friendly. The bike/walking trail is right there.
