★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1It was nice. The camp hosts were great. Just dont expect perfect peace and quiet. Many campers here like to blast music. Other than that, I liked it. Sure, it's a little rough around the edges, but it's a nice place to get away for a weekend. Oh, I really like how the camp host actually enforces the dog leash rule. I rarely see that. It was refreshing.
May 11 · D BradwayMy husband and I went camping at Perception park and had a really great time. The camp host was very friendly and helpful. There was a situation that I felt the camp host handled very professionally. There was a lady who was camping at the meadows but wanted to park at perception because her kids were rafting. When the host told her ok hut there would be a charge and she was very rude an mouthy. The host deserves a pat on back for handling the situation professionally.
June 27 · KarenBeautiful area, bathrooms could use a change, running water was off(memorial weekend). Not sure when they turn that on.
May 28 · michelle bWe had a very positive experience at this campground! We looked at the other campsites along Highway 39 and ultimately decided on Perception Park because we wanted to be close to other people and to the nature trail that goes along the Ogden River. Some pros: The campground was really easy to find from Highway 39 and it was easy to find a campsite. The campground hosts were super nice, they asked us if we needed any help and they gave us some kindling to start our fire when we couldn't find any dry sticks. We stayed in campsite #12 which has lots of shade and is close to the water, so we could hear the river at night but not the cars out on the road. The campsites had a lot of privacy/were far away from each other, which was also really nice. Some cons: The bathrooms were smelly, which is to be expected. I wouldn't recommend staying at #16 because it is right behind the bathrooms. The whole campsite seemed slightly run down, like there was a volleyball pit but the net was broken, and the concrete on many of the fire pits was cracked or missing.Overall, it was a very relaxing stay. Afterwards we headed up to Causey Reservoir which is really good for kayaking and paddle boarding.
August 16 · Kimberly StoryWe love this campground. We go every year at least once. We go as a big family and enjoy the bike trail and the river. The camp host Sunny has always been so helpful. This last weekend he stood in the rain helping us getting our trailer fixed. Can’t ask for a better camping place.
