These offers are designed to make adventurous Maine getaways more accessible and appealing. While specific deals can vary seasonally, common types of promotions include:

- Group Discounts: For larger groups, such as bachelor/bachelorette parties or friend gatherings, special incentives may be available. For instance, if you "organize a group of 11 people mid-week, or a group of 16 on a weekend, and one person rafts for FREE!"
- Private Raft Options: For a more exclusive experience, groups of 6-7 people can often pay a small additional fee per person to have their own private raft and guide.
- Seasonal Value Pricing: During shoulder seasons (e.g., spring or fall), NEOC may offer reduced rates on rafting and lodging, providing an excellent opportunity to experience the region with fewer crowds and potentially beautiful foliage.

Aug 25, 2024 · Jason KunstI’ve stayed at this campground several times now and both are significant positive memories that have stayed with me. It’s a great place to pop a tent or rent the “bunkhouse” and it’s in the most amazing location. You can walk down to the office area for beer, fire pit, piano, horseshoes, or to check in for rafting. There are canoes/kayaks/paddle boards available, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. More than anything you can’t beat the location! Recently added rafting the Penobscot to my list and our guide Ty was amazing! (Full review under Penobscot Adventures for that). I can’t wait to come again whether to camp or raft, or both!!
Jul 18, 2023 · Alexandria Haffordhad a lovely two nights at the campgrounds here! beautiful views of katahdin over the pond, and some relaxing activities available in the lodge. Matt went above and beyond to accommodate our stay and help us feel welcomed! overall we were very pleased with our stay :)
Sep 08, 2022 · Cassy GosselinWe stayed here 3 nights while exploring Baxter. The campsites were wonderful, the staff was friendly, and having access to the pub building was a great plus. We also enjoyed visiting the main resort for dinner and kayaking. All in all a lovely place to call home for a few days.
