Amazing staff! The weekend was super wet but the campgrounds stayed pretty dry. Easy peasy floating set up and beautiful area!
Jun 18, 2025 · Jamie HillWas planning to go dispersed camping near watts hollow but learned this whole area is privately owned and there was also a group turkey hunting. Talked to the hunters and owner and they politely agreed to let us camp by the river for a small fee. Had a great time and felt like we had the place to ourselves, hope to return soon.
Apr 14, 2025 · Garrett OsterThe owners are the nicest and most helpful people running a camping and canoe/rafting/kayaking resort I have found in missouri they really make you feel welcome. The cabins are nice and comfortable if you are not in a camper or tent. Will definitely be back to stay longer next visit.
Jun 04, 2025 · michael taylorPerfect place to get away from it all. About 20 min from the nearest $ general that has anything you forgot....(not that i would know personally 😆). Quiet location with several nice camping spots. The cabins are basic but are perfect for that family vacation! Bathrooms were clean and well kept. Our float was perfect on the Big Piney. We did kayaks and no one flipped. Several fun rapids and plenty of gravel bars to stop and swim at! Our group ranged from age 7 to 50! Water was clear and we could see lots of fish! The owners are super nice and full of information. I wouldn't float the Big Piney with anyone else!
Jul 13, 2023 · MarianneBRING CASH!! The owner doesnt do card. He was nice enough to let us go grab some and come back. We stayed on the rocky beach area for some fishing and camping and had a WONDERFUL time. The bathrooms have showers and were very clean. The grounds are kept really clean, fresh cut, and the owner was very flexible and accommodating. We caught some large mouth bass, blue gill, and a huge channel catfish. We will definitely be coming back! He's dog friendly, you can build a fire and the beach had a lot of nice drift wood but the owner sold some firewood as well. Overall a wonderful experience and some great memories.
