Parkers Creek Campground Reviews
We had a great couple of days in this super quiet campground. We have a 35’ fifth wheel and it was very tight getting in. The lake view was beautiful, close to amenities yet far enough away to be quiet and reasonably dark at night. Nice beach and pavilion area and generally clean bathrooms. Nice playgrounds for the little ones and many folks walking on the paths and playing basketball. The water pressure was very good and the water was tasty. We arrived early and although the campground was virtually empty we were required to wait until the check in time of 4:00 to park. Please reconsider your 4:00 check in time, many folks with larger rigs prefer to be parked and settled by that time.
Apr 11, 2024 · Amanda MI live near the lake and go several times a year. I went yesterday with my sons and when I got to the gate they told me they had raised the price from $7 to $10. I had $7 in cash so I asked the worker at the gate if I could pull over and look for $3 and change because they didn't take tap to pay. The employee very rudely informed me that they no longer take coins, that their policy has changed. I left and drove home. Got my debit card, drove back and when I came back there was no one in the guard shack to take my payment. I love coming to the lake. I go all the time and I've never been treated like that. I'm not sure who that guy was but he was extremely rude.
Jul 01, 2025 · Jackie HeltonMy husband rented a spot for our RV for mothers day weekend. My first time taking our new RV out so I invited my mom and aunt. Since I was getting driped off I gave the passes to my mom and aunt. It was nice being able to come and go since it was my cousins college graduation Saturday. Well I had to check out and my mom had to head out on her 2 1/2 hour drive back home. She met my husband at the entrance to give him the pass to enter to pick up the RV. Ranger comes out of the booth. Is very rude to my husband and doesn't let my husband explain that he is the one that rented the spot for us. We'll my husband just wanting to get on his way pays for entree. Gets to the RV nearly braking it because he was upset that he got treated so rudly. First time using RV and well we will not be going back to Jordan Lake. Thanks Ranger
May 15, 2023 · Rita GibsonCamped here twice as a walk up to loop 4, no reservation, in October because we wanted waterfront. We've made great memories, so don't let the 4 stars think that you should only camp at Poplar Point. Fishing was good. Toilets were regularly cleaned and shower pressure GREAT, but agree with other reviewers....where is the money going? We setup our tent outside of the timbers and had to move it. Initially I was unhappy with time wasted and sleeping on gravel. But it poured the rain that night and later appreciated the drainage.
Oct 16, 2021 · Jonathan BenincosaVery clean campground. Lake view with a morning coffee is just priceless. Booked online conveniently. Restrooms and showers are usable. Convenient trash areas. Only issue we had was we booked two spots so our friends could camp next to us. On reservations map the spots look equally spaced but they are far from that. We were 6 feet from the camp on our right and 500 feet from our friends camp.
